Our domain is a family vineyard since numerous generations where we are making fabulous wines with respect for secular traditions and nature.
Our vineyard is located in the little village of GASPARETS not far from the small cities of Lezignan-Corbières and Narbonne, down in the South of France (Languedoc-Roussillon area, Aude department) and deep in the CORBIERES wine country. It is part of the famous BOUTENAC area where some of the best CORBIERES wines are produced. The vineyard is cultivated on an arid soil of secondary and tertiary origin made of limestone and sandstone enriched during the quaternary with alluviums, silts and pebbles where our grapes need a deep rooting to reach their necessary water resources but also find there all the particularities that make our wines so specific.
The climate is Mediterranean, dry and extremely hot in the summer, mild in the winter with some rainy periods. The vineyard is often windswept by the ‘Cers”, a North-East tonic but violent wind or bathed by the wet ‘Marin’ wind coming from the Mediterranean sea situated only 15 miles away.
Our wines are made of local secular cepages, mostly grenache, carignan, mourvedre, shiraz and cinsault that contribute to a low yield production of a wine of high character. Other cepages like Vermentino (Rolle), Viognier or Maccabeu are also used for some of our white wines. Our red, white and rose are produced using the best standards of grapes cultivation, growing and vinification, then stored in our familial cellar for a long maturation until they reach perfection. They are bottled on the property by the family. Our red Corbieres are wines with hard character, robust, structured but elegant with complex aromas and a typical dark and deep body. They are the soul of our area and have a good ageing potential. Our products are also White Corbieres, ample and well-balanced or Rose Corbieres, light and fruity that cannot leave anyone indifferent.
Our tasting room and office are located at Lezignan-Corbières, 27 avenue Frederic Mistral along the RN113 road (see Map attached), where you could taste our various AOP CORBIERES-BOUTENAC, AOP CORBIERES or Vin de Pays d'Oc productions including our exceptional millesimes that have been awarded every year with medals (Paris, Macon, Bruxelles...) or are regularly mentioned in famous wine guides like Dussert-Gerber, Hachette, Revue des vins de France, Cuisine et Vins de France
